There ar...My dad had this to say about the light... There are only good things that I can say about the LED LENSER H7 headlamp. Initially I was skeptical about the small recessed on/off switch and whether I could operate it with heavy gloves on while hunting. Turns out this was no issue at all. The features of the H7 are impressive. It has all the brightness that anyone could need, in or out of the woods. The adjustable focus shines a bright path for walking in or out of the woods in the dark or it can be set to a fine spot beam when field dressing your harvest at night or, in the pre-dawn hours, preparing the UTV for the day's outing. The lamp head on the H7 swivels ninety degrees and is a great feature for shining the light where you need it and it works great even when I put it on over a brimmed hat. The brimmed hat... a word of warning... this headlamp is so light that you forget you have it on. On several occasions I removed my hat and the H7 dropped to the ground (still works) or I had been sitting in my stand for several hours before realizing that I still had the headlamp on. The dimmer switch located at the back of the strap is also easy to use with heavy gloves on. This feature is handy when you're heading into your stand on those days around a new moon and there is no natural light at all. The LED LENSER H7 is the best headlamp that I have ever tried and would recommend it to anyone. One of my sons uses his for not only hunting, but also for working on the under-carriages of vehicles at his job. I have had to think hard about what I don't like about this headlamp and it is difficult. If there were anything, it wouldn't be about the H7 headlamp itself, but the carrying case that comes with it. Velcro closure!! Both my sons know how I feel about velcro. I simply do not use the case. I wish to extend a sincere thank you to my elder son for giving me such a wonderful and useful gift!Albert Quackenbushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05601926880788750927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-646025171886008830.post-39445005228346271272012-05-18T13:52:15.254-07:002012-05-18T13:52:15.254-07:00Thanks guys.

I have another headlamp that has that and it's pretty powerful, but it's bulky. Wish list for LENSER!Albert Quackenbushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05601926880788750927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-646025171886008830.post-18414229720889885022012-05-18T10:53:36.378-07:002012-05-18T10:53:36.378-07:00Great review Al! I like to use a red light when I only need a small amount of illumination and I don't want to light up the woods.SoleAdventure.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06054879461273739674noreply@blogger.com
