What you have wrote is a good starting point for me. I have no hunters in my family and no one to ask the questions you have so honestly answered in your blog. Thanks!

Dave, Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14280757136488504890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-646025171886008830.post-56845971142314221312010-04-28T12:13:01.560-07:002010-04-28T12:13:01.560-07:00This is an awesome post! It is 100% real, full of truth and personally, I love it!

When taking new hunters out with me I always feel it important to let them know the "way death is." The real way, not the TV way. In fact, I just had a conversation with someone who is going out bear hunting for the first time this fall. Bears are very "reactive" to the shot, especially with a bow so I let them become aware of the possibilities to follow, just because I wish someone would have told me. They thanked me for it so it must have been the right thing.

I also love the fact that you are so personally honest in this post. You see, I cry after most everything I shoot. It's an emotional thing this taking of a life but with that taking comes a greater appreciation of life itself... at least that's what I think.

Anyway, all in all this is a great post!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
